Hello and welcome to 1E’s class page!
My name is Mrs Wright and our full-time teaching assistant is Mrs Gashi.
Year One is really exciting as we have lots to learn and discover. We have characters which underpin our whole curriculum and help to fully immerse us in our learning. Some of our characters are: Mae Jemison, Sir Robert Peel and Samuel Pepys.
In Year One, we spend time working in focused groups, working independently and applying our knowledge in our shared areas. We have lots of fun working alongside our peers and are getting really good at supporting one another’s learning.
We love to share books from our favourite authors such as Jill Murphy and Julia Donaldson, but enjoy discovering new authors too.
