Hello and welcome to Class 3/4S' page!

I am Miss Lockett and I am our class teacher. Our fantastic teaching assistant is Mrs Birch, who supports the children in class as well as teaching them French and RE.

Here in Year 3/4, throughout the year, we learn about three influential characters. This year we are exploring the lives and accomplishments of Claudius, Dr Barnardo, and Cleopatra. We have made an amazing start to the year by immersing ourselves into learning about The Romans and we can’t wait to start learning about The Victorians and Ancient Egypt next term. We are very proud of our work and love to show it off on our class twitter page!

We thoroughly enjoy reading and love to set ourselves reading challenges. We read a range of books in class, such as The Fox, Charlotte's Web to name a few. We also read independently daily and answer questions on what we have read. We also love to read for pleasure and enjoy sharing our thoughts on a book with our peers.
