3/4P
Hello and welcome to Class 3/4P’s page!
I’m Miss Mears, and I’m proud to teach this thoughtful, curious and creative bunch. Our wonderful teaching assistant, Mrs Birch, is part of our team and we’re looking forward to having her back with us soon.
Here in Year 3/4, we spend the year exploring the lives of three influential characters. We’ve made a fantastic start by diving into the world of Cheddar Man and learning all about the Stone Age. Later in the year, we’ll be discovering the Tudors and the Ancient Greeks — and we’re already full of questions! The children produce work they should be genuinely proud of, and you can see some of it on our class story on Dojo.
In 3/4P, we love asking big questions — especially during our daily check-ins, where we get to know each other better and reflect on what matters. We enjoy being creative, learning about how our minds work, and finding ways to support each other in class. We’re building a class family where everyone feels safe, seen and valued.
We’re taking small steps with reading this term — building confidence, trying new texts, and learning to talk about what we notice.
